Impressive by the international tourism industry, and today it is basically flourishing and growing as one of the industries owing to the Himalayan beauty and heart-warming hospitality of the Nepalese people. Because of its natural, cultural, and historical importance, Nepal is going to be the patrons' favorite mountain climbing, adventure, or simply trekking and cultural tours, jungle safari, wilderness trek, and many more adventure sport activities.

With the opening of Nepal to foreigners about seventy years ago in the 1950s, tourist regions began to grow accommodation facilities. While, when compared to developed nations, there are few hotels or accommodation facilities in Nepal, different categories of hotels can be found in different locations within the country. These include international standard star hotels to budget hotels and lodges across major tourist areas that include Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Dhaulagiri, Pokhara, Chitwan, Kathmandu, and so forth.

Most places have some sort of provision for sleeping, though there is not usually much choice beyond established tourist centers. Prices for hotels vary significantly according to standards and by looking at the budget, and according to hotel location. Hotels can charge anything from a couple of dollars per night at trekking lodges to nearly 500 US dollars in Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara, or Everest region.
