Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

On arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, a member of Approved Holidays will be there to warmly welcome you for your transfer to a selected hotel in Kathmandu. Depending on your arrival and time permitting there is a short guided tour of the local markets for those interested. In the evening a meal at a traditional local restaurant is provided where we have a chance to go through your tour in more detail and answer any questions you may have. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Today we spend the whole day Sightseeing within The Kathmandu Valley; including visits to Kathmandu Durbar Square (Kings palace square),a complex of beautiful temples and shrines, Swayambhunath, one of the oldest temples in Kathmandu for Buddhists, Pashupatinath Temple one of the most revered holy cremation places for Hindus around the world and famous also for its pagoda style architecture. We also visit Boudhanath one of the largest of stupas in the world and the center of Buddhist faith in the valley. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 03: Transfer to Nagarkot via Bhaktapur

Today we venture out of Kathmandu on our drive to the hill station at Nagarkot. On the way we stop at Bhaktapur, set almost in a medieval setting, Bhaktapur with its narrow brick paved streets is locked in centuries-old beliefs and traditions that provide hidden treasures of some sort around every corner. We visit the remaining Durbar Square here and take lunch. After lunch, we wind our way into the hills through beautiful forests to Nagarkot to witness the sunset over the Himalayas. Nagarkot commands some wonderful mountain views especially at sunset of a large part of the Himalayan chain stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way to Everest and on to Kanchenjunga in the east. We drive back to our hotel in Kathmandu.  Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 04: Departure

Depending on your departure time our representatives will be there to wish a fond farewell and safe journey with a wish to see you back again with us in the future before the transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport for departure to your onward destination.
