Kathmandu Chitwan Tour kicks off with the cultural exploration of wonderful cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu. Kathmandu is the city of temples, stupas and other amazing architecture from the ancient and medieval times. While exploring Kathmandu valley on this tour, you will know closely the lifestyle of locals, amazing skills they bear and cultural wonders.  In addition, you will also explore spiritual sites and enjoy the positive vibes in abundance.

Later you will also explore the wildlife and nature in Chitwan National Park. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

On arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, a member of Approved Holidays will be there to warmly welcome you for your transfer to a selected hotel in Kathmandu. Depending on your arrival and time permitting there is a short guided tour of the local markets for those interested. In the evening a meal at a traditional local restaurant is provided where we have a chance to go through your tour in more detail and answer any questions you may have. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing - B

Today soon after breakfast we commence a guided tour to different UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites present around The Kathmandu Valley including two of the valleys Durbar Squares (Kings palace squares).The buildings in these squares represent the greatest achievements of the Malla dynasty, the most famous rulers of Nepal. There was great rivalry between the three sons of Yaksha Malla upon his death in 1462 when each son inherited one of the three major palaces of the valley. Artistic warfare broke out between them and later their offspring; many of the temples and ornate architecture found in the valley today is the result of these disputes, with each principality vying with each other to produce the finest architecture. We also visit the two main religious sites for both Buddhists and Hindus Bouddhanath and Pashupatinath Temple. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive to Chitwan - B.L.D

We begin early today soon after breakfast for the five hour drive to Chitwan National Park, stopping for lunch on the way. It is a very scenic drive with mountain views and contrasting cultures and lifestyles, a journey along rivers and through small villages. On arrival at our safari lodge at Chitwan there will be refreshments and a nature briefing by one of the naturalists. Jungle Activities include elephant safaris, dugout canoe trips, a visit to The Elephant Breeding Farm with the opportunity to wash the elephants and also a chance to swim with them in the Rapti River. Bird watching programmes and cultural tribal dances are also provided. Overnight Chitwan Lodge.

Day 04: Chitwan National Park - B.L.D

There is a full day of jungle activities as mentioned in day three, beginning with an early morning coffee or tea and then bird watching before breakfast and ending with a cultural program, dance and dinner in the evening. Overnight Chitwan Lodge.

Day 05: Fly back to Kathmandu - B.D

After a final bird watching session before breakfast, you are ready for the short drive to the local airport for the flight back to Kathmandu and the pickup and transfer to the hotel. The afternoon is at leisure, our representative will be at hand to assist if need be. In the evening there is a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 06: Departure - B

Depending on your departure time our representatives will be there to wish a fond farewell and safe journey with a wish to see you back again with us in the future before the transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport for departure to your onward destination. .
