Kathmandu Valley Tour: An Exploration of Valley Wonders

This trip is a comprehensive package of the wonderful ancient, medieval and modern lifestyle riches of Kathmandu valley. While exploring the spiritual, historical and cultural sites inside Kathmandu valley, you will have an incredible time beyond your expectation. The heritage sites offer the ancient history of Kathmandu valley, medieval stories, and beautiful art and architecture in addition to other rich cultural wonders.

The heritage sites spread in different parts of the valley will tell you about how the people of Kathmandu lived in the past and they do now. These historical and cultural riches are the treasures of this valley that exhibit the timeless cultures and lifestyle.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.

Welcome to Nepal. The representative of Approved Holidays receives you at the airport and transfers you to the hotel. After a rest, a short briefing will be done about the activities on the following days. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | Overnight in Nagarkot - B.D

After the breakfast at the hotel, prepare for the Kathmandu sightseeing tour that takes you to the medieval artistic crafts, especially to the UNESCO listed world heritage monumental sites. A private vehicle is arranged for your tour. We visit Patan Durbar Square first. Later, visiting the Pashupatinath temple, a new impression about this amazing pagoda shrine, surrounding temples, crematory site and others allure you. It is regarded the most significant pilgrimage destination for the Hindu devotees around the world. Boudhanath is another site on the tour, which is the biggest Stupa in South Asia, located at the heart of the city. The huge dome, prayer flags and moving prayer wheels are wonderful experiences.

We drive to Nagarkot for overnight stay. It will be about 1.5 hours of drive.

Day 03: Hike from Nagarkot to Changu Narayan | Sightseeing of Bhaktapur - B

Wake up early morning for a beautiful sunrise and views of the mountains. After the sunrise and breakfast at the hotel, get ready to hike for about 3.5 hours to Changu Narayan through beautiful landscape. You will also explore Changu Narayan village and Temple premises after the hike. Later explore Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is a beautiful world heritage site with several attractions to see and explore. 55 Window palace, Taumadhi Square, Dattatraya temple, Nyatapola temple, Golden gate, sacred pool, pottery square and several others to see. Pagoda style shrines, artistic medieval crafts and the antique town look superb.

We drive back to Kathmandu for overnight stay.

Day 04: Tour- Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath - B

Visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is also known as an open museum is rich in stone and wooden architectures. During the tour, you get various attractions. Trailokya Mohan Narayan Temple, Hanuman statue, Basantapur Tower, Kalbhairav, Ashok Vinayak, Taleju Temple, established in 1564, Kotilingeshwara Mahadev Temple and Courtyard of Kumari Bahal,are the major highlights. Swayambhunath is another site that offers a wonderful experience of exploring the self emerged 5th century cultural attractions. Located on the hillside, it offers an excellent valley view.

You will have time at leisure in the afternoon.

Day 05: Departure - B

Our representative will drop you to the airport or to the station to head for other destinations. Thank you for your beautiful tour experience with our arrangements. See you.
